Hayde is proof that bluegrass has found a home in Norway.
Founded in 2014 and based in Oslo, Hayde regularly tours in the US and Europe with their ‘Nordicana music'. The 7-part ensamble delivers energetic and passionate music deeply rooted in both Norwegian and American music traditions.

Starting with their first release - a cover of Wayfaring Stranger - they quickly gained international recognition, and now has over 21 million views on Youtube.

The band consists of vocalist Rebekka Nilsson, Sjur Marqvardsen on accordion, Moa Meinich on fiddle, Ole Enggrav on guitar, David Buverud on upright bass, and Emil Brattested on dobro and mandolin.
Past members include Joakim Borgen, Magnus Eriksrud, and Jonas Olsen.
